A warm welcome to O Homem Verde (The Green Man), an open air experience to take you a million miles away. You are invited to sample all the comfort and hospitality that 'The green man' has to offer, with a truly relaxing stay in one of our stunning yurts or bell tent.

O Homem Verde (The Green Man) is sited up in the hills of central Portugal, in a region well known for it´s river beaches and castles, monuments and natural delights. Our wish is to help you experience some of the best that this region has to offer with plenty of surprises in store and we think that anyone with a desire to be surrounded by the joys of nature will more than happy with a few days stay in one of our well loved and enjoyed "glamping" yurts. 2019 will be our eighth season and we are looking forward to greeting new adventurers with a taste for something refreshingly different.

Our simple aim is to offer a worry-free, calming, playful and welcoming ambiance for all, set in a low impact, sustainable and friendly environment, where adults and children alike have time and space to experience the good things in life and enjoy themselves and each other.

Our yurts and bells tents are excellent standard, well equipped and family friendly with more than a hint of adventure that the kids will love, an exotic and authentic treat for all!

When you need to shake out the slumber and limber up out of this relaxing ambiance we have lovely river beaches and waterfalls very close by, and little further away some great waterparks - our surroundings allow plenty of opportunities for adventure and discovery!

We are blessed with some great wildlife in our valley – deer and wildboar can be spotted, as can eagles, buzzards, lizards and preying mantis and lots of butterflies to name but a few - and often from the shady comfort of a hammock!

We are more than happy to accommodate small groups and again will be as flexible as we can – just let us know your plans and wishes.

We offer, too, holistic therapy and massage treatments with a fully qualified therapist for that extra relaxing holiday indulgence.
